The design included the layout of the public spaces and a new restaurant. Located right at the beach, the wind, sun and water views were a very important high light as well as the tropical feeling of the place. The design incorporated local design aesthetics of the island, while also making it modern and up to date. The intent was to give it a new Puertorican design aesthetic that stood out and did not look or feel like any other place.
